“This place is AMAZING! We came for a short staycation and it was so much fun. They have thought of everything. My family enjoyed the basketball pickle ball and sand volleyball courts. They even provide everything you need to play. We also loved the pool playground and disc golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for families. We can’t wait to stay again.”

“We will definitely be back at rivers edge campground! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had our RV there for the weekend and never wanted to leave! The amenities are amazing for all ages and everything is so well kept and clean. We had no problems locating our site and were able to connect to electricity and plumbing with no problem. The pool, pickleball courts, volleyball courts and clubhouse were amazing and so fun to hangout by! Highly recommend!”

“If you’re looking for an RV resort in the hill country, this is it!!! My family and I came into town for the eclipse and were fortunate enough to find this spot right after it opened. In fact, we were the very FIRST ones to stay at the actual river spots and it couldn’t have been better. The facilities have SO much to offer and the owners are incredibly nice and very accommodating. The pool, playground, bathroom facilities, main lodge and river were all exceptional. Highly, highly, highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back!”

“My husband & I stayed the Summer at Rivers Edge in our RV & had an amazing time! We spent most of the time by the sparkling clean pool that has panoramic views of the surrounding Hill Country. Met some wonderful people by the pool. Our RV spot included a campfire grill, picnic table, & a bird bath. We were also surrounded by beautiful oak trees & the Sunsets were so beautiful! Guest services? Outstanding! They make you feel like a part of the family. Highly recommend Rivers Edge! We plan on going back as many times as we can! It’s our home away from home!!!”

“This place is amazing. The owners did an amazing job creating this campground, and they were so nice and helpful. The cabins and pull through sites have a lot of room, and the back in has amazing views of the river, with each site having its own fire ring and bench table. This place definitely has a unique charm. All the amenities are easy to access a beautiful pool with a hot tub, volleyball, cornhole, huge playground, giant chessboard, hammock area, fireplace, easy access to the river (great place for kayaking, paddleboarding or just hanging out in the water and walking trails. We will definitely be back in the next few months to enjoy the fall weather 🙂

The campground itself is in an amazing location, close to town with restaurants and family activities while still nestled against the river for excellent views. The campsites are all very generously sized and spread apart from each other which was very nice and the amenities cant be beat. From frisbee golf to pickleball and an excellent pool for the Texas heat, my family had a great time.”

“I had such an incredible stay at River’s Edge Campground! The property is absolutely stunning and the facilities are pristine. The swimming pool/hot tub is wonderful and we had a blast on the sport courts. A highlight of our trip was getting up early to enjoy the sunrise and take a dip in the river. The owners/staff are super friendly and accommodating, too! It’s conveniently situated near other wineries and places to eat which is great if you want to explore a bit. If you’re looking to get the Texas hill country experience and explore charming Johnson City, I can’t recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to go back!”
